About Us

Born into hardship and resilience I came into this world to a mother, whom I never had the chance to truly know, as she passed away eleven months after I was born while giving birth to my younger brother. My siblings and I were raised by my grandmother, a strong woman who taught me toughness, responsibility and determination, but in the midst of discipline and survival, I often longed for the love and softness every child deserves. Cooking became the place where I finally felt that love as it was my comfort, my expression and my way of creating the warmth I felt missing. I fell  in love with flavors, seasonings and the joy of making something from nothing. For which that passion carried me to graduate from The Pittsburgh International Culinary Arts School in 1993. 

I never liked using too much salt, so over time I experimented, tested and perfected what would eventually become my unique seasoning blend- 60% less sodium, full of flavor and crafted with care. It wasn't just seasoning; it was part of my story. Later in life I remarried my true partner who restored my heart and reignited my love for cooking, with her encouragement I rediscovered passion and purpose. I am a proud father of four children and a bonus son whom I love as my own. Despite life's hardships, I've learned to embrace love, joy and possibilities.

My seasoning blend is more than a product, it's a piece of my journey. What started as a lighter, salt-conscious blend turned into a family favorite. Friends and family kept coming back for more and before I knew it Chef B Bold and Boujee was brought to life. Seasoning that elevates everything from meats to veggies.
